Oppo’s Next Flagship R17 Might Have 10 GB RAM


Oppo R17 has been topic of many speculations lately. The forthcoming flagship from the Chinese maker has now been leaked on TENNA, the Chinese certification website. Previously, the handset was teased in China at an event.

The TENAA listing exposed its major specification amongst other functionalities that it is expected to come with 10 GB RAM, making the smartphone first of its kind device. For those who are not aware, the handset will be heir to Oppo R15 that was rolled out in March 2018.

The Oppo R17 is anticipated to sport a 4K 6.3-inch OLED screen with 92.9 % “screen to body” ratio. As per the reports, the handset will be fueled by Snapdragon 710 SoC processor by Qualcomm. The handset as claimed above will have 10 GB RAM and will probably be couple with 512 GB and 256 GB internal memory. It will operate on Android OS, but there is no news on the version of the operating system.

As far as the question remains for the design, it is expected that the handset will feature Oppo R15-akin screen. In the leaked pictures, Oppo R17 is seen sporting volume a power button on the left side and control buttons on the right side of the display. In the pictures, the Oppo R17 is seen featuring a dual rear camera horizontally stacked setup with LED flash at the rear. There is no fingerprint scanner on rear panel and front screen, indicating at in-display fingerprint scanner.

As for the question remains for the battery, it is expected to be fueled by 3415 mAh battery. The predictable dimensions of the devices are 156.7 mm x 74 mm x 7.9 mm. There is no authorized news on the price, launch, and availability of the device. But going by the speculations, the firm may roll out the Oppo R17 in August 2018.
